Golden Tree Hotel & Apartment

I purposefully chose to be far away from District 1. The area is very peaceful and a more upscale part of the city. It was really quiet at night and even during the day. It’s a cheap 15 minute Grab ride into the main tourist area, which I did not mind at all. The room itself is a little older, but has everything you need. Get the most expensive room available, if you can, because it is the nicest. One of the staff members, whose name I didn’t catch, was especially nice and helpful and spoke good English. He is like the handyman/manager/Jack of all trades or something like that. He was nice enough to move me to a different/better room when a loud, disrespectful guest kept banging around in the room next to mine at all hours. He was a repeat guest and known offender, and the staff profusely apologized to me for the inconvenience. The new room I was moved to was nice and peaceful.

I chose this hotel for peace and quiet at night and it didn't disappoint. When I got back from partying in Bui Vien (District 1) at midnight, there was complete silence on the street outside the hotel. Superb! There are some coffee shops and restaurants nearby, plus the 7-11 across the road and also a supermarket next to the hotel. The water in the bathroom doesn't get warm, never mind hot. Otherwise I would have given the hotel 10 out of 10. The man at reception during the day was kind and did me a nice favour as well, so my thanks to him.

This hotel is in a perfect quiet and peaceful area of Ho Chi Minh filled with beautiful bars, restaurants and cafés. It’s a quick grab ride into the other central districts but nicely away from the congested traffic. The staff are extremely helpful, easily extended our day and responded to requests immediately. The room was beautiful, clean and spacious! We stayed in the basement room for part of our stay which was amazing value. 10/10 overall stay and will be recommending to our friends.

The hotel is a bit outside of the city center, so it is more quiet. The area seems to be an upper-class environment. Many Korean, Vietnamese and also Western restaurants. I liked it very much and was there almost a week. Super nice guy at the reception gave me early check-in for free. Also really nice and perfect cleaning and laundry service. It was perfect for me, because I wanted a quiet, safe and comfortable place. Great experience!

I recently stayed at the Golden Tree Apartment during my visit to the SECC conference, and I must say, it exceeded all my expectations. The location couldn't have been more perfect, with easy access to the conference venue and nearby amenities. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, ensuring a hassle-free experience from check-in to check-out.
